About yellowing
White rubber soles yellow with age, sunlight and some cleaning chemicals. Cleaning removes dirt from the surface and can reduce yellowing, but deep oxidation in old soles may not fully reverse. We’ll tell you what to expect when we see the pair.
Keep them clean longer
Wipe with a damp cloth weekly, never dry shoes in direct sun, and stuff them with paper to hold the shape. More tips in our article on keeping white sneakers white.
