Fabrics that need care
Satin shows water marks, velvet crushes, net and tulle snag, and sequins can melt under a hot iron. Each fabric is cleaned and finished in its own way, and layered skirts are reshaped after cleaning.
Common party stains
Wine, cocktail, makeup and food stains are the most frequent. Blot — don’t rub — and send the dress within a few days. Sugary drinks can leave invisible marks that turn brown later.
